acer-ferrari-1100k

From the amount, Ferrari notebook series may not contribute much in the success of Acer. However, the side of the image, Ferrari successfully shows that Acer can also make products that cool, elegant, and masculine.

Acer has not long to update this line of top-class notebook with Ferrari in 1100. This notebook is basically of Ferrari in 1000 that we tested in March 2007. Both physically similar: 12.1-inch notebook that coated with carbon fiber material with a black Ferrari logo on the front. Consistent with the image that brought, in the Ferrari 1100 you will also find a lot of detail that reflects the image of the car and the race. For example curved body, touchpad texture similar to that flag , until the lines characteristic red Ferrari. Consequently, this notebook again shows its capacity as the coolest notebook on the market at this time.

In the specification, the F1100 has fundamental advantages compared to preceding: the integrated optical device. Just enough to remind, in the Ferrari F1000 we have to use an external optical device is making its use. The advantages are the existence of the other F1100 fingerprint scanner to ensure data security.

Processor itself is still used from AMD, the Turion X2 TL-66 with a speed of 2.3 GHz. This work assisted processor 2GB memory capacity, graphics onboard ATI Radeon X1270, and hard drive with 250GB capacity. Standard notebook all facilities available here, ranging from WiFi a / b / g, Bluetooth, card reader, up to 1.3 MP webcam. Please also note that only provides one F1100 Battery size with a 6 cell 5200mAh. This is different to the F1000, which provides two battery, the main Battery 5200mAh and 2400mAh Battery backup capacity.

Because Ferrari 1100 operating system Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit, we can not compare them in head-to-head with a notebook classmates average use Vista 32 bit. Moreover, when tested using the 64bit version of Cinebench R10, render speed increase of around 9% compared to 32 bit version. However, as the grip, the performance of Ferrari in 1100 is quite good, especially in the 3DMark 2006 test. However, compared to MSI PR200X, Ferrari F1100 is not faster.

Another thing that is quite the endurance Baterenya that survive only around 1.3 hours when running Battery Eater applications and HD movies play at Games. This duration is minimal for a 12.1-inch notebook that is usually taken frequently travel. However, with the weight reached nearly 2kg, F1100 may not often be brought to mention.

Use notebook for U.S. $ 2000 this feels quite comfortable. Heat generated stays awake, with an image that looks sharp and does not bounce back, including when used in a bright room. Ferrari F1100 provides 84 key keyboard, including the navigation keys (Home, End, Page Up, Page Down). The key has a good response, although we must familiarize ourselves with the little the Delete key which is a bit too small.
